The grand finale of Erelu Ngozi Adeleke Female Table Tennis Competition for secondary school students came to a thrilling conclusion with talented young players showcasing their skills and vying for top honours | Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation
At the end:
1. The First position (GOLD MEDAL) goes to Alimat Olasunkami, a student of Oba Laoye Grammar School, Ede winning.
2. Hikmat Hazmat of Adventist Grammar School, Ede - 1st Runner Up, SILVER
3. Kabirat Bankole, NUD Grammar School, Osogbo, BRONZE.
4. Fatimo Kazeem of Saint James' Grammar School, Osogbo, BRONZE.
At personal level, I also awarded cash prizes for all four winners, from first to fourth place, as a token of my appreciation for their outstanding performances. The competition was a resounding success, thanks to the collective efforts of the Osun State Sport Council, the Association of Osun State Table Tennis and the Osun State Ministry of Sport. Special appreciation goes to the Chairman of Osun Table Tennis Association, Mr. Ayo Alabi; General Manager of Osun State Sport Council, Mr. Rotimi Dunmoye; Permanent Secretary of the Osun State Ministry of Sport, Mr. Oladele Timothy Olawumi; Director of Sport, Layi Adesiyan and the Osun Football Association.
The event also received valuable support from esteemed individuals including the National Vice-Chairman of PDP Southwest, Engr. Barr Kamoru Ajisafe Kosolowoe. I commend the principals and vice-principals of participating schools, coaches and Team Erelu Ngozi Adeleke their dedication and hard work.
The Erelu Ngozi Adeleke Female Table Tennis competition has undoubtedly provided a platform for young female table tennis players in Osun State to showcase their talents and strive for excellence. We look forward to future editions of this exciting competition.
